Compare iron labels: elemental declaration, forms and packages

Form & Fact · Updated September 27, 2026 · US catalog

Iron product names can emphasize a compound or a front-label strength. The original Supplement Facts declaration and serving basis are the starting point for a factual comparison.

What to compare on the label

  1. Use the row explicitly declaring iron and retain the source form. Do not treat the weight of an iron compound as the declared iron amount.

  2. Check liquid and solid servings separately: milliliters, tablets and capsules are not interchangeable serving units.

  3. Package alternatives on this site require matching recorded serving and ingredient declarations. Recheck the current package because a stored observation does not establish today’s formulation.

Keep uncertainty visible

A missing amount means it is not disclosed in this captured record, not that the ingredient amount is zero. Do not add parent blend totals to their nested components. Check the current source label for warnings, other ingredients and directions before making a purchase.
